| Educational Qualifications | 10+2 (Senior Secondary pass from a recognized board). Height – 157 cms (relaxable by 5 cms for candidates belonging to Gorkhas/Garhwali/Dogras and Scheduled Tribe candidates). Physical Standard – Sound status of health, free from defect /deformity / disease, vision 6/6 without glass both eyes, free fromcolour blindness. NOTE 1 – No relaxation permissible for physical standard. Physical Endurance Test (PET) – 800 Mts race in 4 minutes. NOTE 2 – Those who qualify in the race shall be further eligible to appear in the following tests: 9 (nine) feet long jump and 3 (three) feet high jump (qualifying in 3 chances) NOTE 3 – There would be no appeal against the physicalendurance test. NOTE 4 – During PET, a check will also be made for anydefect or deformity (including bow-legged, knock-knees, flatfeet etc.) which would render candidate ineligible for recruitment. |
